Passionate About Inspiring Others
Peter Augros is a teacher in his soul. Having always worked with children and young adults as a mentor and coach Peter finds his joy in inspiring young minds to follow their hearts and passions in life while teaching them how to grow into their highest potential. A lesson with Peter not only teaches good Chess, but good living.
Peter started his adult life by joining the monastery at the age of 17. After eight years of monastic life, Peter felt called to leave to follow his passion for teaching. After 20 years he is a seasoned teacher both in the public and private sectors, grades 6 - 12, and has taught more than 8 subjects.
Peter holds a Masters in Philosophy from the Ateneo Pontificio Regina Apostolorum in Rome, Italy, and has completed a 6-month boot camp to learn front and back-end web development at the University of Denver.
Peter also loves to teach meditation to anyone who is willing to learn, free of charge and has students around the world who have learned the art of meditation through his teaching.
Peter says his greatest accomplishments in life are his two children, Maya and Timothy, who live with him in California.
